Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Spare Parts Asset Manager in Data Center Facilities, where your expertise will be pivotal in managing assets throughout their lifecycle. Collaborate with logistics, facilities operations, compliance, procurement, finance, and site leadership to ensure assets are effectively tracked from receipt to disposition. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain precise asset records for site-support, facility, and operational assets.
  • Assist in all aspects of asset lifecycle management including intake, tagging, tracking, and documentation.
  • Ensure data integrity in inventory systems and site records.
  • Work closely with logistics, procurement, and facility teams to manage inventory control and asset assignments accurately.
  • Monitor asset ownership and serviceability to enhance operational visibility.
  • Coordinate audits and reporting to uphold asset governance standards.
  • Generate reports on inventory accuracy, aging, and replacement visibility.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies and inefficiencies in processes.
  • Support compliance requirements related to asset management and handling.
  • Organize documentation pertaining to asset movements and lifecycle events.
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in asset management, inventory control, or facilities support.
  • Familiarity with asset databases, inventory systems, and operational documentation.
  • Proven ability to manage record accuracy and reconciliation in operational settings.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments with multiple competing priorities.
  • Background in data centers, logistics, or facilities is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in related fields preferred; equivalent experience is also valued.
Skills and Competencies
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to identify process gaps and implement corrective actions.

Preferred Skills / Certifications
  • Experience in asset lifecycle management and inventory auditing.
  • Knowledge of CMMS, ERP systems, and ticketing platforms.
  • Experience in compliance-related documentation and asset tracking.
  • Familiarity with operational environments or mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Understanding of inventory management practices and barcode/RFID tracking.
  • Relevant certifications in supply chain or asset management are a plus.
Physical Demands / Work Environment

This is an on-site position at a mission-critical data center where regular attendance and execution discipline are vital. The role involves physical activities including walking, standing, and lifting. You may be required to assist with inventory checks and asset verification. These tasks must be carried out safely, supporting the health and operational readiness of the data center.
