Job Title
General job duties. Types of procedures required. Administer and monitor conscious sedation during procedure, circulate in a sterile environment. Procedures include: left and right heart catheterizations, PCIs, temporary and permanent pacemakers, ICDs, EP procedures, TEEs and cardioversions, venous ablations, peripheral vascular angiograms. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Pyxis, XIM(Philips monitoring system), Epic, Xcelera, ultrasounds, Angiojets, EKOS machines, Acist contrast injection system.
Required skills and minimum years of experience. Minimum 2 years cath lab experience. Graduation from a NLN or AACN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable. Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred. ACLS certified. Currently licensed with the applicable State Nursing Board and/or possess multistate licensure privileges as required by position. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
