Minimum Salary: $17.70 per hour
Closing Date: March 31, 2025
* Seasonal positions can be filled prior to the closing date.*
The normal summer season is approximately May through September. Opportunities may exist to begin earlier and work later. Seasonal employees are paid only for hours worked.
Duties- Drive a specialized testing vehicle and assist in the collection of pavement condition data.
- Drive shadow vehicle and flag traffic in testing or survey zone on highway.
- Position involves driving through the State and regular overnight stays.
- Work week is Monday through Thursday.
- Must be age 18 by the date of hire.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work outside and perform limited physical labor.
- Considerable overnight travel required.
Please note this is a temporary or seasonal, non-benefited position, exempt from civil service.
