The City of Pierre seeks a passionate individual to join our team in making Pierre one of the best places to live, work, and visit. This position performs carpentry duties in the construction, repair, and maintenance of city facilities.
Qualifications & ResponsibilitiesThis position performs all aspects of carpentry work, which includes compiling material lists and cost estimates for construction projects, pouring and finishing concrete, renovating interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and roofs, repairing furniture and building cabinets, bookcases, and shelves.
Compensation & BenefitsWage: $25.02/hr plus a comprehensive benefit package including 100% employer paid employee health, dental, and life insurance, a 6% employer match to the South Dakota Retirement System, and 12 paid holidays. Up to $2,000 annual educational assistance is available. Wage offer will be based upon actual education and experience.
Up to a $3,000 hiring bonus.
