This Full‑time position with the Department of Social Services involves maintaining fixture installation and repair, irrigation systems, waste systems, heating and cooling systems, pool and whirlpool tubs, food service appliances, and other duties as assigned. The role prioritizes work orders, estimates material costs, maintains inventory, troubleshoots complex systems, oversees contracted construction projects, and upholds professionalism to support patient care.

None required; special consideration given to candidates holding Journeyman, Contractor, or other specialty licenses.

Experience in plumbing trade, both new construction and remodeling.

• computers and related software programs
• blueprints and schematic design
• water softeners
• hydronic boilers
• water heaters
• arious water systems

• read blueprints and troubleshoot issues within a plumbing system
• work both independently and as a team
• complete scheduled inspections
• assist other trades as the need arises

• work with other outside of the department for scheduling purposes
• troubleshoot complex systems on campus
• work with vendors for ordering and scheduling of services
• work with other trades within the Physical Plant to provide services for the hospital
