applicant must be a current part-time or full-time student (minimum of 6 credit hours) in upcoming semester or in the immediately preceding semester.

this internship position at the south dakota human services center (hsc) is designed to provide students studying to receive a masters in social work an opportunity to work in a delivery system that provides services for adolescents and adults with a severe mental illness or serious emotional disturbance diagnosis. It is further designed to provide a structured opportunity to participate and work with individual, group and family counseling.

applicant must be a student in a graduate program in social work or a related field at a college or university with at least two semesters completed.

• preference may be given to applicants with a standing of junior/senior, south dakota residents, and students of south dakota institutions.
