We are looking for a full-time CDL Driver to join the team at our location in Elgin IL.
POSITION SUMMARY:
In this position you will be operating a garbage truck on a specified route. This is a position requiring regular heavy lifting and climbing in and out of the truck. This position will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously serving customers.
This is a full time, seasonal position. A typical schedule for this position is Monday
- Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed, approximately 45-55 hour work week.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Class A or B CDL w/ air brake endorsement
Have 1 year of work experience as well as a stable work history, preferably in a driver position.
Able to lift 50+ pounds.
Able and willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
WHAT WE OFFER:
Competitive pay & benefits. ($31.13/hr) Union position - season runs 9 months out of the year from April to December approximately.
Garbage is very stable and we work year round!

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operation of shunting/tank trailers and box trailers to specific load/offload areas around the plant and customers warehouse location.
- Pre & post trip inspections and logs hours in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Manage equipment, tools, and paperwork required as well as drives the equipment to needed areas.
- Coordinates with Supervisor and Unit Still Person to manage work activities and job scope.
- Completes minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Performs JSA's and permitting with the crew and understands safety conditions and hazards.
- Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
Job Qualifications:
- Must possess a Valid Class A CDL Driver's License with a minimum of 2 years recorded experience
- Tanker endorsement is required
- Must be able to pass DOT Physical & Hair Follicle drug screen
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
Work Schedule:
12 Hour Rotating Shift (Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays)

Pay Range: $27.00 - $31.00 Hourly
Job Title:
Delivery Driver
- Class A CDL
Compensation: $27 - $31 per hour (DOE)
Location:
Batavia, IL, with travel in Illinois and surrounding states

- Perform deliveries and pick-ups of materials, equipment, and machinery across job sites.
- Load, unload, secure, and transport equipment such as Bobcats, pipes, and materials.
- Primary focus on driving with flexibility to support yard and shop material support when called upon.
- Assist with job site setup, including moving materials and supporting installation-type activities.
- Maintain communication with installers, site personnel, and internal teams to coordinate work.
- Follow delivery routes and schedules provided through internal systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to approximately 75 lbs when required.
- Frequent movement in and out of trucks, yard work, and equipment operation.
- Ability to work outdoors and in physically active environments.
