• Install, terminate, splice, and test fiber optic cables in various environments, including underground, aerial, and indoor settings.
• Diagnose and repair fiber optic network faults and outages, ensuring minimal disruption to service.
• Read and interpret network blueprints , schematics, and technical manuals to plan and execute installations.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of fiber optic infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company procedures during all field operations.

• Proven experience as a Fiber Optic Technician or similar role in the telecommunications industry.
• Proficiency with fiber optic testing equipment such as OTDRs, fusion splicers, and power meters.
• Understanding of fiber optic cable types, connectors, and installation best practices.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.
