Position OverviewPAF is seeking an organized, customer‑focused Events and Venue Manager to oversee both internal programs and external facility rentals. This role manages the full event lifecycle—from inquiry to execution—while ensuring an exceptional client and guest experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working with people, and is passionate about community engagement.
Key Responsibilities Event & Rental Management- Serve as the primary contact for all events and rental inquiries
- Manage the full rental process: tours, proposals, contracts, invoicing, and follow‑up
- Plan and coordinate event logistics, including setup, scheduling, equipment, and permits
- Provide on‑site oversight to ensure smooth execution and high‑quality service
- Recruit, train, and supervise event staff and volunteers
- Coordinate vendors and contractors; maintain a preferred vendor list
- Track staff and volunteer hours to support reporting needs
- Maintain event space readiness, inventory, and cleanliness standards
- Track event utilization and revenue; provide regular reports
- Identify opportunities to increase rentals, partnerships, and sponsor ships
- High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of experience in event management, hospitality, venue operations, nonprofit events, or project management
- Proven ability to manage multiple events from planning through execution
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to stay calm, flexible, and solutions‑focused in a fast‑paced environment
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays
- Passion for community, the arts, and nonprofit work
- Crowd Management Certification preferred (PAF will sponsor if needed)
- Salary: $60,000 – $70,000, based on experience

Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing stairs, listening, hearing, and visual acuity. Must be able to move throughout the event space, including walking long distances, climbing stairs, and navigating crowded areas. Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving event materials and equipment up to 15 pounds. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in fast‑paced or crowded event settings.
