Our Client is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide support to adults with intellectual developmental disabilities Throughout the Baltimore County Area .

* SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

* Guide and assist residents to learn, live, and function in the community as independently as possible

* Provide direct care, interaction, and supervision of the residents, inclusive of all daily needs (meals, grooming, personal needs, transportation, recreation, leisure, medical and medication administration)

* Prepare progress notes and complete daily logs as directed

* May require some daily driving as needed by the program

* Treat residents with dignity and respect including providing opportunities to engage in decision making, constructive activities, and habilitative services to the extent they are able

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* Compassionate about the care and well being of others

* Minimum of a High School Diploma

* Ability to complete and pass background check

* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
