AboutThe Role
Responsible for all hospital and provider calls sent to appropriate secretary and/or provider. Receiving messages for outside physician must be returned within a reasonable amount of time. Collecting/distributing faxes throughout the day to appropriate personnel. Pull medical records, process prescription refill requests, and other duties as requested.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for answering and returning calls
- Schedules patients
- Call/follow up with patients regarding test results
- Will communicate with provider regarding patient concerns
- Performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties to proactively identify and respond to the needs of the patients, medical office staff and physicians. Ensures that all customers receive exemplary service.
- Education:
HS Diploma/GED preferred - Experience:
1-3 years of experience. Travel to offsite locations may be required to meet staffing and patient needs. Travel will be coordinated in advance to the extent it is possible. Hours will vary depending on the provider's schedule.
Salary range $20 to $24/hour dependent on experience and our internal equity
