Director of Operations / Senior Regional Leader

Garden-Style Value-Add Multifamily Portfolio

We are seeking an experienced Regional or senior-level multifamily leader who is ready to make a meaningful impact within a stable, growth-oriented organization. This is a hands‑on, entrepreneurial opportunity for a driven industry professional who has reached a ceiling in their current role and is eager to step into broader operational influence.

The company has a strong foundation and solid operations in place. Leadership is now focused on refining processes, strengthening SOPs, enhancing efficiency, and building the infrastructure needed to scale thoughtfully. This role will play a critical part in that evolution.

The Opportunity

This position offers the chance to evaluate current operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement clear, actionable goals that elevate performance across a garden‑style, value‑add portfolio. The right leader will partner closely with onsite teams, remaining in the trenches while strengthening systems and developing talent.

You will oversee a Regional leader responsible for marketing initiatives and SOP rollouts, as well as provide leadership to all Property Managers within the portfolio. This is a highly visible role that requires both strategic thinking and operational execution.

The position is based in‑office with quarterly travel to properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess portfolio performance and operational effectiveness
  • Refine and enhance SOPs to improve consistency and efficiency
  • Develop clear performance goals and accountability measures
  • Lead rent strategy and revenue optimization efforts
  • Strengthen talent development, coaching, and team engagement
  • Build high‑performing onsite teams through mentorship and leadership
  • Collaborate with marketing and regional leadership to ensure execution of initiatives
  • Stay closely connected to property‑level operations to drive results
Ideal Profile
  • 10+ years of hands‑on multifamily operations experience
  • Currently serving as a Regional Manager or above
  • Experience with garden‑style, value‑add portfolios
  • Strong background in rent strategy, team development, and operational refinement
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to assess, build, and improve
  • Creative, innovative, and energetic with a strong work ethic
  • A true team player who leads from within the trenches
  • Comfortable rolling up their sleeves and working alongside onsite teams
