Corporate Manager of Quality Systems (Executive Succession Opportunity)

RESCO Electronics is seeking an experienced Corporate Manager of Quality Systems to join our leadership team in a unique succession planning opportunity. Our current Vice President of Quality Systems has announced plans to retire, presenting an opportunity for the right candidate to lead RESCO's quality system. To ensure a smooth transition, we are seeking a high-performing quality leader who will initially serve as our Corporate Manager of Quality Systems, working closely alongside executive leadership while gaining a comprehensive understanding of our business, customers, and operations.

This position is being hired with the intention of developing the successful candidate for inclusion in the senior management team on or before the retirement of our current quality system executive, based on demonstrated performance, leadership, and organizational fit. As Corporate Manager of Quality Systems, you will oversee company-wide quality initiatives while serving as the Quality Manager for our Baltimore headquarters. Working directly with executive leadership, you'll help shape the future of RESCO's Quality Management System across multiple manufacturing locations.

• Lead and continuously improve RESCO's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Transition RESCO to ISO 9001:2026
• Manage Quality Managers and quality personnel across multiple facilities.
• Provide engineering support to our Baltimore manufacturing operation.
• Serve as the corporate representative during customer, ISO, and third-party audits.
• Lead internal audits, corrective actions (CAPA), document control, and compliance initiatives.
• Oversee customer returns, nonconforming material investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with REACH, RoHS, UL, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Develop quality metrics and present performance results to senior leadership.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and Customer Service to drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop quality personnel while building a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Significant leadership experience managing Quality Systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience leading internal, customer, and certification audits.
• Strong understanding of corrective actions, quality metrics, document control, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in contract manufacturing, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, or electronics manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• The ability to think strategically while remaining engaged in day-to-day operations.

This is more than a Quality Manager position. You'll work directly with an experienced executive leader as part of a planned leadership transition. During this time, you'll gain exposure to corporate strategy, customer relationships, multi-site operations, and executive decision-making.
