Support the Marketing & Communications department with tasks related to photography, videography, social media content creation, and office duties. Ideal for creative students interested in digital media, storytelling, and communications.
Responsibilities And Career Competencies- Help train and manage level 1 work studies L
- Greet and answer guests’ questions that come to the office when working at the front desk. P, C
- Conceptualize content for the university’s social media and work with level 1 work studies to create it. L, C,T,EI, CSD
- Operate and manage the university printer. Prioritize print jobs based on importance. Keep track of paper inventory T, CSD
- Complete finishing work on university publications (binding, cutting, sorting, etc.). T
- Provide administrative assistance, including picking up packages, organizing spaces, internet research or data entry. This could include using programs like Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. TW
- Help staff members with various projects/tasks. TW, CSD
- Maintain bulletin boards on campus by decorating and posting flyers. C
- Work with the Mar Comm team on-campus events TW
- Maintain confidentiality, be punctual, and communicate changes in the work schedule in advance, Appropriate attire as discussed for work environment. P
- Other tasks, as needed or assigned.

Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, flexible around class schedule, up to 10-20 hours per week.
Work Conditions:
Office and event settings; may include indoor and outdoor environments. May be subject to noise, dust and machinery in the printer room.
Physical Demands:
Keyboarding, reaching/handling, stooping/kneeling, pushing up to 20 lbs., pulling up to 20 lbs., lifting up to 20 lbs., carrying up to 20 lbs.
