This assistant supports a variety of shoots and editing projects while gaining valuable hands‑on experience in media production. They work closely with faculty and advanced assistants to create high-quality content and help maintain the FMA lab. Ideal for students with a solid foundation in media skills and a desire to grow creatively and technically.
Responsibilities And Career Competencies

• Assist in the production of video content, including shooting, lighting, and editing support (T, CT, TW)
• Support upper-level assistants and faculty on media projects and class shoots (C, TW, P)
• Help maintain FMA Lab organization and assist fellow students with projects (L, TW, CSD)
• Contribute ideas to media projects, collaborating with other assistants and faculty (CT, TW)
• Collaborate with Pike TV staff to support live campus events and sporting broadcasts in a hands‑on support capacity (TW, T, P)

  Monday–Friday: 8:00am–5:00pm; closed on weekends. Hours flexible to accommodate class schedules and events.
