Assistant General Manager

A leading hotel is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant General Manager for our Pikeville, KY location. As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the overall success of our restaurant. This is a full-time position and the ideal candidate will be an individual contributor. This job is located in Pikeville, KY. Responsibilities include assisting the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all company policies, procedures, and standards are being followed at all times, training and developing team members to provide exceptional service to guests, assisting in creating and implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability, monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed, conducting regular audits to maintain quality control and compliance with health and safety regulations, building and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other business partners, handling guest complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to ensure the restaurant remains competitive.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality/restaurant industry, knowledge of the local market and experience in a similar geographic location preferred, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, proven track record of meeting/exceeding financial targets, ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and must have reliable transportation to and from work.
