- Conduct outdoor field surveys to collect biological, ecological, or environmental data – CT, C, P, TW
- Record, organize, and maintain accurate field notes and data sheets using digital or written formats – CT, T, P
- Assist with setup, calibration, and use of field research equipment (e.g., GPS units, sampling nets, environmental sensors) – T, P, CSD
- Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and peers to complete field projects and research goals – TW, L, C
- Ensure safety protocols are followed in outdoor environments (use of protective gear, awareness of hazards) – P, CT, L
- Contribute to data entry, preliminary analysis, and preparation of research reports or presentations – T, C, CT
- Engage respectfully with local communities, landowners, and partners during off‑campus fieldwork – C, CTR, P
- Demonstrate initiative by learning new field methods, research tools, and environmental monitoring techniques – CSD, T, CT
