The Co Team Leader is responsible for providing leadership for the successful operation of the entire sales floor and receiving area. The CTL creates and leads a sales team focused on selling merchandise and delivering a positive associate and customer experience. Responsibilities include merchandising, associate development, customer service, and financial oversight.
Primary Responsibilities- Assist the Store Team Leader with managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and timely completion of related reports to meet financial and operational goals.
- Demonstrate Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors in providing exceptional associate and customer service experiences; ensure company standards are consistently demonstrated in every interaction.
- Ensure store standards, seasonal transition planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet operational expectations.
- Develop and execute talent planning to ensure associate growth.
- Ensure proper scheduling and staffing for business needs.
- Perform all functions to open and close the store when needed and handle any additional responsibilities as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer.
- Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons on a regular basis.
- Must have a valid Driver’s license.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and to work in a safe manner.
