Administrative Assistant – Varner CTE
Arkansas Correctional School District (ACSD)
The Arkansas Correctional School District is seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant for our Career and Technical Education (CTE) program at the Varner Unit. This position plays a vital role in keeping our educational programs running smoothly by managing documentation, attendance, and essential administrative workflows.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Attend weekly classification meetings to coordinate student enrollment.
- Monitor, verify, and accurately enter daily attendance information for both students and educational staff.
- Prepare and submit departmental requisitions for school materials and supplies.
- Maintain precise, confidential, and up-to-date educational and administrative records.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data entry and standard office software.
- Preferred:
Prior experience in a correctional education setting and familiarity with eOMIS (Electronic Offender Management Information System) is a major plus.
