Mobile Auto Technician

Position Summary

Mobile Automotive Technician – Elitek Vehicle Services, an LKQ Company. Performs electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic procedures on most vehicle makes and models while delivering high levels of customer service and expanding market share.

• Assist service managers and estimators in documenting mechanical or electronic repairs.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and courteously, avoiding traffic violations and accidents.
• Perform bumper‑to‑bumper mechanical and electrical repairs, including OEM software programming, ADAS calibrations, and diagnostics.
• Develop relationships with new customers and maintain high service levels for existing customers to preserve and grow customer relationships.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma and relevant certification.
• Five or more years of automotive repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must qualify for corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance.
• Must pass pre‑employment drug screening and be at least 21 years of age.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to develop relationships with new customers to increase market share.
• Proficient use of a variety of automotive services and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong work ethic, time‑management skills, and attention to detail.

• Occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
• Work in a shop environment with heat, loud noise, and extended sitting while driving.
• Exposure to extreme cold and/or extreme heat; tolerance for high and low temperature levels and occasional climate driving conditions.
• May involve operating a motor vehicle for work‑related duties; must meet all eligibility and safety requirements.
