What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Administrator you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of major subcontract procurement, from drafting specifications to award administration.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms for major constructions, materials, equipment, and services.
- Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, and evaluate proposals.
- Negotiate subcontract provisions, manage modifications, and administer awarded contracts.
- Collaborate with contracts administration and purchasing to create subcontract policies and procedures.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior personnel and lead major project initiatives.

Basic Qualifications- Knowledge and experience buying under the guidelines of the FAR/DFAR, LMAP, CAP, and other acquisition policies and procedures.
- Expertise in building trades, materials, industrial gases machinery and maintenance.
- Proactive and have excellent customer service skills.
- Manage challenging workload effectively and efficiently.
- Exhibit strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Self‑starter and an excellent team player.
- Strong computer skills and experience in SAP or equivalent system.
- Some travel may be required.
- SAP S4 HANA/P2P.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Leadership skills.
- Demonstrated delegation of authority.
- Requirement documentation experience.
- Experience with supply chain and government procurement. Strong time management, organizational skills, effective verbal, and communication skills are essential.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- The position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
- Ability to Work Remotely: The employee will work part of the schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
- Clearance Level: None.
