Position Summary:
We are in search of talented Construction Estimators who will play a vital role in our project development process. Your expertise will ensure accurate cost assessments, competitive bidding, and successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities- Analyze construction plans and specifications to prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for bids.
- Perform quantity take-offs and assess labor, material, and equipment costs.
- Evaluate potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project costs.
- Prepare detailed and competitive bid proposals.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and market conditions to optimize bidding strategies.
- Review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
- Provide support during the project development phase as needed.
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator.
- Proficiency in estimating software and industry-specific tools.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of construction codes and regulations.
