Special Education Teacher

Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

Location: Clarendon, AR

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students in a positive and nurturing environment.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curricula as needed for students with disabilities.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
• Use a variety of instructional techniques and strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.
• Participate in professional development and stay current with best practices in special education.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred)
• Valid Arkansas teaching license with Special Education endorsement
• Experience in special education and IEP development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
