Job Description

A Secondary English teacher instructs upper level (6th‑12th) students in building strong reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills literacy skills. The teacher creates engaging, standards‑aligned lessons, assesses student progress, differentiates instruction for diverse learners, and maintains a positive classroom environment, often collaborating with families and colleagues; while creating a welcoming space where students learn to think clearly and share their ideas with confidence.

  • Leads students to high academic achievement through rigorous, targeted, and differentiated instruction.
  • Designs and delivers engaging instruction that addresses a full range of student needs and learning styles.
