JOB DESCRIPTION
Duration:6 months with possible extension and conversion to FT
Location: Remote
Pay Rate: $35/hr - $40/hr
Delivers a variety of training programs to live audiences both in-person and virtually. Provides stand-up classroom instruction. Manages and delivers training programs to attain learning objectives and meet learners' needs. Reviews training materials in relation to organizational needs, learners' backgrounds and course objectives to ensure the consistency of quality and accuracy of content. Ensures a variety of learning styles can be met by selecting appropriate methods and media for instructional delivery.
Monitors participant progress and instructional program effectiveness; establishes and maintains a learning environment to actively and freely promote learner engagement and participation.

Experience:
5-7 years related experience required.
- Conduct training and development programs for employees.
- Skills include curriculum and training design.
- Monitor, evaluate and record training activities and program effectiveness.
- Offer specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills.
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups or consultation with managers.
- Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.
- Organize and develop, or obtain, training procedure manuals and guides and course materials such as handouts and visual materials.
- Present information using a variety of instructional techniques and formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures.
- Track cohort progress and ensure learners stay on schedule
- Cover classes as needed
- Use PPT, facilitator guides, and simulations (Edge Sandbox for engagement)
- Communicate learner comprehension; elevate issues to LOB partners
- Gauge learner understanding and provide feedback Interview Process

- Self-sufficient and independent
- Teaching background is a plus

- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, and leadership technique.
- Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

- Kickoff:
Meet trainers and conduct “Train-the-Trainer” events
- High School Degree and Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training required.
