Summary ofJob Duties
An adjunct professor teaches courses in universities and community colleges, evaluates students, conducts student conferences, develops lectures, conducts seminars, and serves other administrative duties within the department.
Qualifications- Master’s degree in the academic field in which they intend to teach.
- Ph.D. in their field is preferred.
- Prior experience teaching at the university level, such as serving as a teaching assistant or graduate research assistant.
- Professional experience in the academic field is acceptable.
- Documented proof of attendance at academic conferences and publications of relevant research.
