An adjunct professor teaches courses in universities and community colleges, evaluates students, conducts student conferences, develops lectures, conducts seminars, and serves other administrative duties within the department.

• Master’s degree in the academic field in which they intend to teach.
• Ph.D. in their field is preferred.
• Prior experience teaching at the university level, such as serving as a teaching assistant or graduate research assistant.
• Professional experience in the academic field is acceptable.
• Documented proof of attendance at academic conferences and publications of relevant research.
