Summary ofJob Duties
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff invites applicants for Adjunct Faculty Instructors in chemistry and physics disciplines. The candidate will be expected to engage in teaching of introductory courses to undergraduate students.
Responsibilities- Teach lecture or lab in courses taken by undergraduate students.
- Possibility to teach in the evening and/or online classes with labs that meet in-person during the day.
- Use novel teaching techniques and technology to engage learners.
- A Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline is required.
- Two years’ experience teaching students in higher education.
- Competence and experience to develop, revise, implement, and assess curriculum ensuring students acquire current knowledge.
- Proficiency with classroom technology.
- Commitment to high academic standards, dedication to student success, excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills.
- Other job‑related education and/or experience may be substituted upon approval.
$1000 per lab
