Federal Study Student - Peer Tutor; Beebe

Job Description

The Advising & Learning Center on the Beebe Campus is seeking a Federal Work Study student for 15 hours per week during the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 terms.

Duties include:

• Participate in study groups as needed
• Assist with office traffic as needed
• Assist students with checking out textbooks and calculators
• Assist with calculator tutorials and programming
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Applicants must have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have work authorization that does not require future visa sponsorship.

• Math tutors: completed College Algebra with a grade of "B" or higher
• Science tutors: completed Biology, Chemistry, or Physics with a grade of "B" or higher
• Business tutors: completed Accounting I, Statistics, or Business Calculus with a grade of "B" or higher
• A skills assessment is required

$11.00 per hour

Position will be subject to a pre‑employment criminal and sex‑offender registry background check. In certain cases, an additional financial, credit, or background check may be required. Convictions that have been sealed or dismissed will be excluded from consideration.
