Duties Help
* Manage technical, financial, and administrative aspects of facility construction and alteration projects
* Coordinate facility modifications and resolve complex engineering challenges through multidisciplinary collaboration.
* Review Scopes of Work and Technical Data Packages to support concepts for new or modified munitions.
* Conduct engineering investigations to resolve technical challenges within assigned projects.
* Develop statements of work and cost estimates for equipment procurements and installation.
* Conduct market research to identify supplies for components not recently manufactured at the Arsenal.
* Direct prototyping and evaluation of new technologies to support manufacturing program development. Requirements Help Conditions of employment
* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
* One year trial/probationary period may be required.
* You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
* This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
* Selectees must meet position requirements for Practitioner Certification in the Engineering and Technical Management functional area within 60 months of entrance on duty.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
* This position requires submission of Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
* This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Tentatively selected applicants will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug testing. A. Degree:
Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in engineering. To be acceptable, the program must: (1) lead to a bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in a school of engineering with at least one program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET); OR (2) include differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a) statics, dynamics;
