Our client is paying for travel. It is rotation work so they will be working 84 hours a week for back to back weeks and then get flown home for the next 2 weeks off and repeat.
V PAS Engineer (Sequences or Complex Logic)
The PAS Engineer provides on‑slope/on‑site support for process automation systems, leading day‑to‑day testing and commissioning from the DCS board while coordinating progress and schedule with customer stakeholders. This self‑starter plans, manages, and executes work independently across Delta
V configuration and maintenance tasks, including sequences, equipment modules, alarms & events, historian integration, live graphics (GEMs), system downloads/uploads, hardware familiarity, and complex loop design/configuration. The role also leads loop checks and troubleshooting to quickly resolve configuration issues and ensure system integrity.
Must‑have skills and experience
- Senior‑level Delta
V commissioning capability; able to work independently onsite without hand‑holding and make configuration changes during testing/commissioning. - PAS engineers:
Day‑to‑day testing and commissioning from the DCS board;
Delta
V configuration (sequences, equipment modules, alarms and events), historian integration, Delta
V Live graphics (GEMs), downloads/uploads, hardware familiarity, loop design/configuration, and troubleshooting. - SIS engineers:
Self‑directed SIS loop checks and functional testing from the DCS board; hands‑on Delta
V SIS configuration and hardware;
Delta
V Live SIS graphics/GEM troubleshooting; collaboration with instrument techs and HSE. - Important risk note: mid‑level or junior talent increases the risk of costly errors in this environment.
