JOB SUMMARY

The Starbucks Supervisor at Saracen Casino Resort is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Starbucks outlet, ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer service and adherence to all Starbucks and casino policies. This role includes supervising staff, managing operational flow, handling customer service issues, and maintaining Starbucks brand standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Oversee the Starbucks team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Operational Management:
    Ensure efficient operations of the Starbucks outlet, including order processing, beverage preparation, and cleanliness.
  • Customer Service:
    Maintain a high standard of customer service; resolve any customer complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Sales and Promotion:
    Drive sales through excellent customer service and promotional activities; train staff on up‑selling and customer engagement.
  • Inventory Control:
    Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper stock management practices are followed.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Ensure all food and beverage offerings meet the high standards expected by both Starbucks and Saracen Casino Resort.
  • Policy Adherence:
    Ensure all operations comply with Starbucks operating procedures, health and safety regulations, and casino policies.
  • Financial Accountability:
    Responsible for cash management, preventing loss, and auditing drawers or transactions as necessary.
  • Reporting:
    Generate and review daily sales reports, provide insights into sales trends, and develop strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Team Development:
    Foster a team‑oriented environment through leadership and example, providing continuous feedback and coaching to improve performance.

  • Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by 24‑hour schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age or older upon employment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Must have a professional appearance and be a team player.
  • Must present a well‑groomed and professional appearance.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.
  • Ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.
