We have been retained by a Fortune 50 global market leader with one of the most sophisticated tax controversy functions in corporate America. They are seeking a high-impact role,
Director, Global Tax Controversy
, to serve as the primary strategist for U.S. federal income tax and international controversy matters.

• You see yourself as the lead on complex U.S. Federal and international tax controversies, including proactive oversight of non-U.S. tax audits.
• If you believe it is essential to integrate your expertise into the entire lifecycle—from initial planning and implementation to final audit defense—ensuring that deep institutional knowledge and strategic continuity are baked into every decision we make.
• You don't just want to work within a framework; you build it. You will play a pivotal role in our global tax evolution, breaking down the traditional walls between U.S. and International teams to create a single, unified, and powerhouse audit approach.

• 8+ years of tax experience in a multinational company, Big 4, law firm, or government.
• Strong experience leading IRS controversy or federal income tax audit matters and managing the relationship with the taxing authorities.
• Significant experience with U.S. international tax matters.
• Ability to manage complex issues and work effectively in a large, global organization.
• MST, JD, LL.M., or CPA preferred.
