Head of Product Cards Stablecoins

Overview

Wallet in Telegram is a digital asset solution natively embedded into Telegram’s interface. Backed by The Open Platform, Wallet in Telegram gained 100M+ user accounts in 2024, and aims to make its solution available to all 1BN+ of Telegram’s users. Wallet in Telegram offers a dual-wallet experience with Crypto Wallet (a multi-chain wallet for trading and sending crypto to contacts) and TON Wallet (a self-custodial wallet with access to the TON ecosystem of dApps and tokens).

We are looking for a Head of Product:
Cards & Stable coins to build and own the Cards vertical at Wallet in Telegram.

Most crypto users can trade and hold — but spending remains the missing layer. At Wallet in Telegram, we’re building the bridge: a crypto card and local stablecoin infrastructure that turns millions of users’ digital assets into real purchasing power, anywhere in the world.

As Head of Product:
Cards & Stable coins, you’ll own that bridge. You’ll define how users spend crypto at any merchant, borrow against their holdings, earn yield on card balances, and transact in local stable coins pegged to their home currencies. This is the product that transforms Wallet from a trading app into a financial tool people use every day.

You’ll partner closely with our Head of Payments on vendor and partnership strategy, and report to the Chief Product Officer.

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Cards and Local Stable coins.
• Lead the full card lifecycle: issuance, activation, transaction flows, limits, fees, FX, cashback, chargebacks, and card controls.
• Define and evolve Earn and Borrowing features tied to card products, including mechanics built on smart contracts.
• Drive integrations with card issuers, processors, and payment networks.
• Own the Local Stable coins product — 1:1 pegged stable coins with local bank account connectivity and P2P transfers between users.
• Manage a dedicated product team; hire, mentor, and set goals.
• Set and own KPIs for the vertical, tying them to revenue and user growth.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Operations to ensure robust and scalable infrastructure.

• 7+ years in Product Management, with at least 3 years in fintech or crypto.
• Deep expertise in card products — issuance, processing, transaction flows, cashback, chargebacks, FX.
• Proven track record of launching and scaling financial products end-to-end.
• Experience owning crypto products end-to-end is strongly preferred; candidates without it must have a solid understanding of how blockchains, smart contracts, and DeFi protocols work — and personal hands-on experience with them.
• Strong understanding of card scheme rules (Visa/Mastercard), issuer relationships, and compliance requirements.
• STEM degree is a plus.
