Senior Tax Associate (Texas Remote)

Pay Range: $90,000 – $110,000 per year

Location: Fully remote;
Must currently reside in Texas.

Vaco is working on behalf of a tax and advisory client involved in real estate and private equity. We are hiring a Senior Tax Associate to help with federal and state corporate and partnership tax compliance. The tax team serves private clients (small businesses, high‑net‑worth individuals, trusts) and private‑equity customers. Experience with private client service, family high‑net‑worth, or PE‑backed clients is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with federal and state corporate and partnership tax compliance for private and private‑equity clients.
• Prepare returns, filings, and related documentation.
• Support tax planning and audit activities.

Qualifications:

• Relevant tax experience (e.g., corporate, partnership, pass‑through, high‑net‑worth).
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must reside in Texas.
