Position: Modeling Actuary - Risk
Location: Remote
Salary: $,000 + Bonus
Actuarial SummaryThis actuary will support actuarial model validation activities within a growing model risk team, focusing on independent review, documentation, and clear communication of results. This role is ideal for a career ASA with strong experience in life, annuity, or long-term care models who enjoys analytical rigor, report writing, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications- Perform independent validations of actuarial models with a strong emphasis on documentation and reporting
- Communicate findings clearly with actuarial, risk, and business stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree and ASA with 5–7+ years of actuarial experience in life, annuity, or LTC
- 3+ years of experience developing actuarial models
- Proficiency in at least one of SQL, Python, R, or AI tools
- Near-FSA or FSA, LTC valuation experience, CERA, or consulting background preferred
