PRN - mostly need days help but may be some nights also
In a coordinated approach, the individual is responsible for assisting during/after surgery for cesarean sections, assisting patients with activities of daily living, use and care of special equipment in Labor and Delivery and assisting the RN/LPN in the care of antepartum/laboring/delivered patients. The Obstetrical Tech is responsible for certain clerical and reception duties. All duties are performed in a collaborative approach with unit personnel and under the direction and supervision of the RN.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required. Or a graduate of Surgical Technology School
