The Supportive Living Professional supports individuals with personal care, life skills development, transportation, supervision, and community integration while promoting dignity, respect, and self‑determination.
- Assist residents with daily living activities including hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Support residents in developing independent living and social skills
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
- Transport and accompany residents to appointments and community activities
- Complete daily documentation and incident reports accurately
- Follow individualized service plans and behavioral support plans
- Ensure compliance with Arkansas CES Waiver standards and agency policies
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident needs
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation (required for transporting clients)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (per Arkansas DHS guidelines)
- 1 – 2 years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in caregiving or supportive living preferred
