This position is based within Jefferson Regional Laundry and Linen Department.

Job Summary:

The Support Services Manager manages the daily operations of a hospital laundry and Environment Services departments, ensuring clean and organized linen distribution & facility cleanliness to various departments, meeting CMS standards. This includes tasks like preparing linen carts, delivering clean linens, picking up soiled linen, managing EVS productivity and task completion, and ensuring overall cleanliness. The role also involves managing inventory, taking orders from staff, and potentially assisting with equipment maintenance, all while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in hospitality management, business management, healthcare or other related degree preferred.
• Current valid driver's license required.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

• Minimum Requirements:
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Basic computer skills
• Preferred Requirements:
• 6 months of experience in laundry operations, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience greater than 6 months a plus.
• Working knowledge of EVS operations, infection control prevention practices, and regulatory standards preferred.
• Experience with supply chain, inventory management, or support services operations preferred.
