- 4:30 p.m. - This position is based within Jefferson Regional Patient Access Department
Job Summary:
The Registrar is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient admission and registration of patients. This role involves collecting and verifying patient information and providing excellent customer service. They will work closely with medical staff and patients to facilitate seamless patient care and accurate data entry. Work schedule may vary as needed.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or other related field preferred.
- Must have proficient computer skills
- Must be able to work under pressure with time constraints and must be able to coordinate multiple office duties at the same time
- Must be able to handle stressful situations with poise and in a courteous manner.
- Preferred Requirements:
- Background in healthcare environment preferred.
- Experience in hospital registration or healthcare registration process a plus.
