Occupational Therapist

Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide evidence-based inpatient therapy to adult patients with complex medical and surgical needs. The OT will complete comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver interventions that maximize function, safety, and independence in ADLs and IADLs. Responsibilities include patient and family education, discharge planning, and collaboration with physicians, nursing, PT, SLP, and case management.

• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations for adult inpatient and specialty care patients.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and functional goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve ADLs, IADLs, cognition, and functional mobility.
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and adaptive strategies/equipment.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on care planning and discharge recommendations.
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the EMR.
• Participate in quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Supervise OTA staff or students as appropriate and support continuous learning.
