About the Role
We are looking for an HR Business Partner to support Suzano Packaging USA’s industrial operations.
In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to leadership while maintaining a strong day‑to‑day presence with operational teams on the plant floor. The position plays a key role in supporting organizational transformation, driving people initiatives that enable business results, and helping leaders navigate change in a dynamic industrial environment.
What You’ll Do- Act as the HR Business Partner for Industrial Operations, serving as a close and accessible point of contact in day‑to‑day activities.
- Use strong communication and analytical skills to navigate different scenarios, always focusing on practical solutions aligned with the industrial environment.
- Connect business needs with People & Culture strategy to help drive company results.
- Manage the people budget and ensure execution of performance, development, and succession cycles.
- Monitor and manage strategic HR metrics and indicators.
- Facilitate presentations and training sessions on People & Culture topics.
- Support diversity goals, considering the industrial context and local community relationships.
- Partner with the Talent Development team to design solutions and identify talent growth opportunities.
- Hold regular alignment meetings with leaders to support workforce planning, development, succession, internal mobility, engagement, change management, conflict management, retention, and offboarding processes.
- Interface with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure alignment, execution, continuity, and standardization of People & Culture initiatives.
- Contribute to the management of the site’s Collective Bargaining Agreement clauses together with the Labor Relations team.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Preferred:
Experience as an HR Business Partner supporting industrial or manufacturing operations. - Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strategic mindset and understanding of common industrial challenges such as managing shift teams, workplace safety, productivity, and organizational climate.
- Availability to work on‑site at the Pine Bluff industrial mill, ensuring close partnership with operational teams.

Uses data and insights to support decision‑making across workforce planning, performance, engagement, and organizational health. - Collaborative Partner:
Works closely with operations, HR Centers of Excellence, and leadership teams to drive alignment and execution across all People & Culture initiatives.
