Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Microsoft 365 Email Migration & Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Exchange Online migrations, email security, and data protection. The role involves deploying Microsoft 365 environments, migrating customer email systems, implementing security policies, and supporting customers with email and network security best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy and administer Microsoft 365 environments
- Perform email migrations from cPanel, Google Workspace, Exchange, and other hosting providers to Microsoft 365
- Configure and manage Exchange Online mailboxes, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, and mail flow rules
- Implement and manage email security policies, including:
- SPF
- DKIM
- DMARC
- Anti-spam policies
- Anti-phishing policies
- Safe Links and Safe Attachments
- Configure Microsoft Defender for Office 365
- Implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access policies
- Configure and manage Microsoft Entra (Azure AD)
- Troubleshoot mail flow, authentication, and deliverability issues
- Assist customers with Outlook configuration and mobile device setup
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, phishing attempts, and Business Email Compromise (BEC) threats
- Maintain documentation and migration procedures
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Administration
- Experience with Exchange Online
- Experience performing IMAP and Exchange migrations
- Knowledge of DNS records including:
- MX
- SPF
- DKIM
- DMARC
- Autodiscover
- Experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure AD)
- Understanding of email security best practices
- Knowledge of Outlook desktop and mobile configuration
- Strong troubleshooting and customer communication skills
- Microsoft Defender for Office 365
- Conditional Access Policies
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Microsoft Intune
- Security Incident Response
- Network Security Fundamentals
- Power Shell for Microsoft 365 Administration
