Desktop Support Specialist

• Manufacturing / Factory Environment Experience – Preferred
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field – Preferred; equivalent experience considered

We are seeking a Deskside Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support to end users in an onsite environment. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting PCs, hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues. Experience supporting users within a manufacturing facility or factory environment is highly preferred.

The technician will work directly with employees to diagnose and resolve technical issues, maintain computer equipment, and ensure reliable day-to-day IT operations.

• Provide onsite deskside and desktop support to employees.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PC, hardware, software, and peripheral issues

• Install, configure, maintain, and replace computer hardware and software.
• Diagnose basic network connectivity and network hardware issues
  .
• Support printers, monitors, laptops, desktops, and other end-user devices.
• Assist with hardware deployments, upgrades, and equipment refreshes.
• Respond to service requests and incidents and document resolutions appropriately.
• Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate infrastructure or network teams.
• Provide technical assistance while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Follow IT procedures, security standards, and support documentation.
• Work effectively in an onsite manufacturing/factory environment
