NEIS, LLC is seeking a Director of Learning and Development to oversee the learning and development processes while supporting the Premium Audit Operations team. Enhance training, mentoring, and support platforms to further technical advancement and improve audit quality. Implement best practices to ensure compliance and consistency, and foster enhanced synergies and team cohesion.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide structure to enterprise-wide training & mentoring initiatives to support Premium Audit operations teams.
  • Modify & enhance the audit training platform to provide more effective training, particularly for inexperienced employees.
  • Review presentation and reinforcement methods to better support initial retention, individual topic reinforcement, and module-based (automated), self-paced learning.
  • Consider revamping the curriculum, also creating separate tracks for experienced vs. inexperienced auditors.
  • Develop “click-n-learn” videos/modules to drive sustainable automated training tools.
  • Evaluate using an LMS to create/house training videos and track employee completion.
  • Use enhanced training and mentoring to drive improved auditor retention rates.
  • Assist with improving new hire production during first 6 months of employment.
  • Assist the Training department with training sessions as needed to support business operations.
  • Working with Recruiting/HR, use knowledge/insight to fine-tune candidate profiles, interviewing and hiring practices, and onboarding processes.
  • Support ongoing individual auditor technical improvement, encouraging completion of APA and PAAS certifications. Develop annual goals for experienced and inexperienced auditors.
  • Coordinate Review Mentoring and field ride-a-long initiatives to ensure uniformity and adherence to NEIS SOP. Work alongside Training and Management, personally engage in auditor mentoring to drive learning.
  • Assist with ongoing updates to NEIS SOP, reinforcing field compliance. Include adherence to all NEIS standards, processes, and technical reference tools.
  • Drive process improvement and lead ongoing development and learning initiatives. Become a thought leader within the organization, maintaining fresh perspective toward progressive learning, automation-assisted support, and AI integration.
  • Provide Admin support to NEXUS audit software adoption and training, becoming a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Assist with the development of audit process enhancements, including but not limited to the enhancement of a structured online web portal.
  • Work with NEIS leadership to identify short-term and long-term goals that will help focus energy and resources on driving product innovation and maintaining market leadership.
  • Work well with other functional groups at NEIS not under your control.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
Job Requirements
  • 15+ years audit industry experience
  • 10+ years management experience
  • Prior training and/or mentoring experience
  • Proven leadership, business oversight, and analytical skills
  • Ability to identify inefficient processes, and create and implement effective solutions with limited resources
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range is $90,000 - $110,000 per year (DOE) plus annual incentive bonus
