Our client in the power solutions and electrical infrastructure industry is seeking a Regional Field Service Manager to oversee transformer field operations across a defined region. This role provides technical and operational leadership for field service crews while partnering directly with customers to ensure safe, high-quality, and timely project execution. Unlike hands‑on field roles, this position focuses on people leadership, technical oversight, and customer engagement, while remaining technically strong and available to support complex field challenges.

• Manage field service crews installing, testing, and maintaining power transformers
• Coordinate scheduling and resource planning to meet project timelines
• Serve as the primary customer point of contact during field service operations
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to field crews as needed
• Review field work for quality, safety compliance, and adherence to company standards
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for technical or operational issues
• Lead, mentor, and develop field service technicians and crew leaders within the region
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and training requirements
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting
• Oversee assigned fleet, DOT compliance, and related operational requirements
• Meet with customers in person and virtually to review scope, progress, and performance
• Remain available to support field crews and respond to escalations as required

• 6+ years of power transformer experience with strong technical knowledge is required
• 2+ years of team management experience is required
• Knowledge of electrical testing and diagnostic equipment is required
• Strong communication and customer service skills are required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new software is required
• Valid driver’s license is required
• Ability to travel 30%-40% & support field crews outside business hours, as needed, is required
