Site Safety Manager

Reports to:

Director, Safety

The Site Safety Manager leads safety initiatives across all project sites within the region, ensuring compliance with corporate safety standards and continuous improvement of safety performance through training, audits, and incident investigation.

• Maintain communication with area and site leadership regarding safety compliance and share updates with direct supervisor.
• Report all safety‑related incidents immediately to supervisor and appropriate management.
• Conduct or coordinate worker training on safety rules, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment.
• Support area management by participating in planning, scheduling, customer, and executive meetings.
• Perform safety audits, inspections, and facility evaluations to identify and correct potential hazards.
• Investigate industrial accidents, near‑miss incidents, and occupational injuries, determine causes, and implement preventive measures.
• Provide technical advice, coaching, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and required changes.
• Order and maintain facility safety inventory, including supplies and equipment.
• Manage other safety staff, holding them accountable for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of related experience; 7 years if bachelor’s degree not provided.
• Ability to multi‑task and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team‑building skills.
• Proactive problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and motivational capabilities.
• Self‑motivation and ownership of assigned work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Stationary position with occasional standing and sitting for prolonged periods.
• Light lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Work may occur in hazardous conditions at customer facilities.
• Travel may be required.
