A welder will perform a variety of fabrication duties to assist with the production of pole transformers.

• Assemble pieces of metal together or repair damage in metal
• Perform tasks including but not limited to production needs, fabrication and welding
• Read and follow blueprints
• Cut metal into appropriate shape and size
• Smooth molten metal to remove creases
• Weld with all different types of metal, including steel and aluminum
• Comply with safety guidelines and procedures
• Produce and maintain accurate records
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Welding certificate or higher

  Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
