We are looking for a CNC Operator to join our Team!
This will be a 3rd shift position that runs from Sunday - Thursday, 8:30 pm - 5:00am.
The CNC Operator position is responsible for operating and overseeing machines that polish and finish stone surfaces, ensuring that the stone meets the required quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate CNC milling machine
- Perform typical machine shop operations
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition, follow safety procedures
- Assure the quality of each part meets specifications
- Load and run programs, understand and be able to successfully navigate through program database
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum 1 year of machining experience preferred.
- Utilize and maintain safety guidelines and follow proper safety procedures.
- Respond to all safety related issues in a proper and timely manner.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness and create the conditions for a safe environment.
- Ability to get along well with people and are energized by a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to consistently follow standard operating procedures
- Ability to work under conditions with changing priorities, short deadlines, and multiple work assignments
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Detail oriented and a self-starter
- Willingness and ability to bring a positive, problem-solving approach to work every day.
- Willing to work overtime, as needed
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, infrequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work while standing for 8 to 12 hour shifts
- Ability to move and carry substantial parts on varied surfaces
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to safely operate overhead crane
- Ability to follow all safety requirements
- Ability to use measuring tools
