Maintenance Generalist 1st Shift Pine Bluff Blend Mill

Position Summary

The Maintenance Generalist MG05 is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Assemble and disassemble equipment.
• Housekeeping responsibilities.
• Operate and maintain mobile equipment, pneumatic, and circuit components.
• Perform welding on ferrous materials using oxy‑fuel welding equipment, oxygen cutting, and plasma cutting.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment.
• Perform physical tasks including climbing, standing, bending, sitting, and carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 70 lbs multiple times weekly.
• Work in varying environmental conditions (hot and cold).
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
• Follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Work at heights safely.

• Minimum of six months of work experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance or equivalent training.
• Agricultural milling maintenance experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification.
