Operator V - 3rd Shift

This position is an Operator V (Level V Operator) at Baxter's Cleveland plant in the Plastic Pour Bottle Blow Molding (Sidel) line.

• Operate Haumiller Gasket Machine and inspect bottle and gasket assembly.
• Prepare machine and support equipment for production, perform start‑up and readiness tasks.
• Monitor equipment during production, making minor adjustments and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs and safety regulations; perform and document line clearances.
• Verify correctness of materials and complete all production and batch documentation.
• Maintain general housekeeping duties and ensure the work area remains clean and safe (6S principles).
• Communicate effectively with department employees, management, engineering, and maintenance.
• Train as a backup Production Technician and perform relief duties for other personnel when required.
• Perform required safety and quality checks in a Class I Controlled Environment, including PPE usage and noise protection.

• High school diploma required; additional technical experience, training, or education a plus.
• Prior machine operating experience preferred; experience with plastic bottle blow molding desirable.
• Basic troubleshooting ability for minor mechanical and electrical issues.
• Basic computer skills; ability to read, write, count, and use a calculator.
• Physical requirements:
  
  lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, climb ladders, bend/stoop; audiometric testing and hearing protection required.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and/or be trained to do so.

• Salary pay rate $19.38 per hour, plus shift differential for off‑shifts.
